Reports and the action catalog

The 39 catalogued Local SEO actions: profile health, reviews, citations, listings, competitor gap, backlinks, AI visibility and full audits, with what each.

Updated · 2 min read

Beyond rankings, the Local SEO suite has one catalog of paid actions. The catalog is the authority on what each needs, what it costs, and how long a result is reused; GET /api/local-seo/catalog (tool get_local_seo_catalog) returns it and the dashboard's buttons read it.

Where

  • Web: SEO, the domain, Local SEO, Reports.
  • iOS: Local SEO, Reports. The Local SEO overview (Rankings and Reputation halves) reads what you have already paid for and spends nothing.
  • API/MCP: GET /api/local-seo/reports, GET /api/local-seo/reports/quote, POST /api/local-seo/reports/:kind, and the extended endpoints under /api/local-seo/; tool run_local_seo_action (action_id, request_key, input).

What a report shows

A business profile health check says why the score is what it is: whether the profile is verified, how many photos, posts in the last thirty days, questions, and the fields not filled in; a count the check did not measure shows nothing rather than a zero.

A citation consistency report lists every directory where the name, address or phone differs from the profile. A competitor gap report names the competitors in your pack and what they have that you lack. The three full audits combine the others into one document for a client.

Prerequisites

Most actions need a saved business profile; rank-based ones need keyword targets; competitor reports need competitor names (the discovery step proposes them). The catalog names each prerequisite so a run is refused with a sentence, not a failure.

Audit history

GET /api/local-seo/audit/history lists every audit run with its date and cost, so a monthly comparison is a read, not a purchase.

Common questions

Which report first? Profile health (2 credits) and citation consistency (50). Those two are where most local businesses lose the pack.

Do reports run on a schedule? No. Each is an explicit, quoted spend. The monthly SEO report on Pro covers the website, not the Local SEO catalog.
