Where credits come from

That is the whole list. There are no credit packs to buy: the plan turns the suite on and brings its allowance with it, and credits pay per call. Need more than Pro's 250? Enterprise is 1,900 a month; plans are bought in the DomainGuard iPhone app (Apple in-app purchase). An account manager can also grant credits by hand.

GET /api/local-seo/credits (tool get_local_seo_credits) returns the balance; the ledger is append-only, so every grant, spend and refund is on record under History.

The quote-first rule

Every action has a quote endpoint (/api/local-seo/quote, /ranks/quote, /geogrid/quote, /reports/quote) and every button states its price before it spends, with the balance it leaves. The recorded spend is what the provider reports, so an action never settles above its quote; when the provider charges less, the difference stays in your balance.

The catalog (GET /api/local-seo/catalog, tool get_local_seo_catalog) is the authority: it carries each action's inputs, prerequisites, price basis and caching rules, and is what the dashboard's buttons read.

Recovery, not double-billing

Every paid action is sent with a request_key you choose. If the request times out, GET /api/local-seo/operations/:requestKey (tool get_local_seo_operation) returns what happened to it, so the action is read back rather than run again. Re-sending the same key with a different request returns 409 idempotency_mismatch.

Where prior results are free

Reading a saved result never spends: rank history, past map scans, past reports, backlink snapshots. Only a new measurement costs credits, and the catalog's cache_policy says how long a result is reused.

Common questions

My balance went down more than the quote. It cannot; the recorded spend is capped at the quote. Check History for a second action.

Do unused monthly credits roll over? The monthly allowance tops the balance back up each month; whatever is already in the balance stays until spent.

Can I buy more credits without changing plan? No. Credits only come with the plan or from an admin grant; there are no one-time packs.
