PRIVATE AI · FOR LAW FIRMS

Private AI for law firms. It runs in your office, not someone else's cloud.

We install a computer in your office that runs its own AI model, with an Ohio and federal law library on it. Your staff use it in a web browser. Client files, questions and answers are not sent to an outside AI service.

  • The AI model runs on your own machine
  • Ohio case law, statutes, rules and many local codes built in
  • Work one client at a time, in that client's folder
  • Each person signs in with their own code
  • Set up, updated and watched by us

The short answer

Use AI on client work without handing client files to an AI company.

Public chatbots are useful, and most firms are wary of pasting a client's documents into them. The usual answer is to not use AI at all, which leaves the time savings on the table.

Our answer is a machine in your office that does the work itself. The model reads your client's files and the law library on that machine. It drafts and finds; a lawyer checks and decides.

Sounds familiar?

  • Staff are already using ChatGPT, and you are not sure on what
  • You want AI help but cannot send client files out
  • Research time eats the margin on flat-fee work
  • Recordings, emails and notes for a matter are scattered
  • Building a chronology means a day of copying dates

What it does

Built for how a small firm works.

Ask about a client's files

Each client has a folder. Drop in documents, scans and recordings, and ask questions about them. Answers show which files they came from.

An Ohio law library on the machine

Ohio Supreme Court and appeals opinions, the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ohio Revised Code and Administrative Code, court rules, and local codes for many Ohio cities. Updated from us every week.

Document tools

Chronologies, privilege logs, citation checks on a draft, tracked-changes redlines in Word, Bates numbering and a conflicts name search. Each one produces a draft for a lawyer to review.

Your own email, calendar and recorder

Each person can connect their own Microsoft 365 or Google account and a Plaud recorder, and tick exactly what the AI may do with each. Nothing is ticked until they choose.

Sign-in and who sees what

Staff reach it over a private network, with a firm key and an authenticator code. Each client can be limited to the people on that matter, and access is logged.

Backed up, updated, watched

Encrypted nightly backups that are test-read back, signed updates from us, and a health report so we see problems before you do.

Who it's for

Ohio firms that want AI without the confidentiality question.

Talk to us about yours
  • Small and mid-size Ohio firms

Firms without an IT department, where one machine in the office can serve everyone.

  • Estate planning, probate and business practices

Document-heavy transactional work: reading files, pulling facts into a summary, checking a draft against the Revised Code.

  • Litigation practices

Chronologies from a pile of records, privilege logs, citation checks and research across Ohio and Sixth Circuit opinions.

  • Firms already using Microsoft 365 or Google

People connect their own mail and calendar, so the AI can find the email about a matter without anyone forwarding it.

How it works

From a conversation to a machine your staff use every day.

  1. First call

    Your practice and your worries

What kind of work you do, what you want help with, and what you will not allow. We tell you plainly what it can and cannot do.

  2. In writing

    A plan and a quote

The machine sized to your firm, what gets set up, who gets access, and the monthly care. Before you buy, we can show it working on your kind of work.

  3. Install

    Set up in your office

The machine, the library, client folders, staff accounts and sign-in. Then we walk your people through it.

  4. Ongoing

    We keep it running

Library and software updates, security fixes, backups checked, and help when someone is stuck.

Where your data goes

What stays in the office, and what does not.

Lawyers ask this first, so here it is in a list.

On the machine in your office

  • The AI model itself
  • The law library
  • Your client folders and documents
  • Every question and every answer

What crosses the internet

  • Health and update status, so we can keep it patched
  • Mail and calendar traffic with Microsoft or Google, only for people who connect their own account
  • Signed library and software updates coming in from us

Your duty to protect client information is yours to judge, and your bar's guidance on AI applies. What we can tell you is exactly how the system is built, so you can make that call with the facts.

FAQ

Questions people ask first.

Something not covered here? Call (330) 305-2750 and ask. You get Noah, not a menu.

No. The AI model runs on the machine in your office. Questions, documents and answers are not sent to an outside AI service.

A model that fits on one office machine is smaller than the big public ones. It is good at reading your files and searching the library, and weaker at open-ended writing. Like any AI it can be wrong, so answers show their sources and every output is a draft for a lawyer to check.

No. It is a fast way to search Ohio law and your own files, and its citation check flags cases to look at. It is not a citator, and it does not replace Shepard's or KeyCite.

Yes, over a private network that only your people are invited to, with the same firm key and authenticator code. The machine is never opened to the public internet.

Whether it is healthy and up to date, which we need to keep it patched. Client files are not sent to us.

It depends on the size of the firm and the hardware it needs. We quote it in writing after a call: the machine, the setup, and the monthly care.
