Why it matters to your business
If this fails, visitors see a full-page browser warning instead of your website, and most of them leave. Search engines rank sites without working HTTPS lower, and payment and contact forms stop being safe to use.
How to fix it
- Install a valid certificate for the domain. Most hosts and Cloudflare provide one free.
- If you use Cloudflare, check the SSL/TLS mode is Full (strict) and that your origin server also has a valid certificate.
