Widgets and the Lock Screen
Four Home Screen widget sizes and three Lock Screen widgets: what each shows, how they refresh, how to add one, and what a dash means.

Widgets carry the portfolio's state to the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. They read the on-device copy the app writes for them, refresh about every 30 minutes, and follow the device's light or dark appearance the way the system's own widgets do.
Home Screen

Each row opens the app on that domain or alert. Pick the small widget's variant from the widget itself (iOS 17 and later) or from Account, Widgets.
Lock Screen

Adding one
Long-press the Home Screen, tap the plus, search DomainGuard, choose a size. Account, Widgets in the app describes the three sizes and repeats these steps.
Rules
- Anything the app has not measured shows an em dash, never a zero.
- Auto-renewing certificates (Let's Encrypt, ZeroSSL, Google Trust Services, Buypass, Cloudflare, Amazon) do not appear as "expiring soon" until their last day, the same rule the app applies.
- Widgets keep working across app updates without being re-added; the retired SEO and expiry modes became Findings and Watched.
Common questions
The widget is stale. Widgets refresh on iOS's schedule, about every 30 minutes, and whenever the app writes new data after a scan. Opening the app forces a write.
Can the widget show one domain? The Lock Screen Domain Status widget shows the domain that most needs attention. The Home Screen widgets show the portfolio.
