What we look at
We read your domain's expiry date from the registry (RDAP) and count the days left.
Why it matters to your business
When a domain expires, your website, email and anything tied to it stop working, and after a grace period anyone can buy it, including someone who wants to receive your customers' email. Auto-renew fails quietly when a card expires or the renewal email goes to someone who left.
How to fix it
- Renew now, for several years if you can.
- Turn on auto-renew at your registrar and check the card on file.
- Make sure the registrar's contact email goes to a shared mailbox, not one person.
