Microsoft 365 migration · Northeast Ohio
Move your email to Microsoft 365 without losing a single message.
Your old emails, folders, calendars and contacts come with you. The switch happens over a weekend you pick, and on Monday everyone opens Outlook and keeps working.
- Old mail is copied before the switch, so nothing is left behind.
- The switch happens over a weekend. Mail keeps arriving the whole time.
- Computers and phones are set up for your team. Nobody follows a how-to guide.
- One flat price, quoted in writing before anything moves.

The scope, in writing
What you get, and what you don't.
A migration is a short project with a clear end. This is what the flat price covers.
Included
- Every mailbox moved, with its old email, folders, calendar and contacts
- Shared inboxes (info@, sales@, billing@) and aliases set up the way your team uses them
- A licence check, so each person gets the Microsoft 365 plan they need and nothing more
- The weekend switch, plus a final pass for mail that arrived during it
- Outlook on computers and email on phones connected for every user
- MFA on every account, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up on your domain
- Monday-morning help for anyone who gets stuck
Not included
- Microsoft's licence fees. Those are separate from the migration price and billed monthly per person.
- Mail your old provider has already deleted. We can only move what is still there.
- Rebuilding how your company stores files. Moving shared files to OneDrive or SharePoint is quoted on its own if you want it.
- Ongoing IT support after the move. That is available month to month, but the migration does not require it.
The move, in order
What actually happens, week by week.
Your current email keeps working until the moment it is replaced. That is the whole design.
Week 1
We list every mailbox and who uses it
Every address, shared inbox, alias and forward on your current system, plus who actually reads each one. This is where we find the info@ inbox three people check and the ex-employee mailbox nobody wants deleted. We also look at your current licences, so you only pay Microsoft for what each person needs.
Week 1
Microsoft 365 is set up next to your old email
Users, shared mailboxes, groups and security settings are built in Microsoft 365 while your current email keeps working exactly as it does today. Nobody changes anything yet, and nobody has to be told.
Week 1-2
Old mail is copied over in the background
Years of email, folders, calendars and contacts are copied into the new mailboxes while people keep working. The big copy happens before the switch, so the switch itself is small.
Weekend
The switch happens on a weekend you pick
We point your domain's mail at Microsoft 365, then run a final pass to catch anything that arrived during the move. Mail keeps arriving the whole time; it just lands in the new place.
Monday
Computers and phones are already set up
Outlook on each computer and email on each phone gets connected to the new mailbox, so Monday starts with the same folders and the same old emails. We are on call that morning for anyone who gets stuck.
Week 3
Lock it down, then turn off the old system
Sign-in codes (MFA) for every user, SPF, DKIM and DMARC so nobody can send email pretending to be you, and a check that nothing still points at the old provider. Only then do you cancel the old email account.
Where you're coming from
Moving from almost anywhere.
The steps above stay the same. What changes is how the old mail gets copied out.
GoDaddy or IONOS email
The most common move we do. Mail, folders and contacts copy over. If your Microsoft 365 was bought through GoDaddy, it sits in a GoDaddy-managed account and moving off it takes an extra step. We handle that step.
Google Workspace (Gmail)
Mail, labels, calendars and contacts move to Outlook. Shared Google Drive folders can move to OneDrive and SharePoint at the same time, or later if you would rather do one thing at once.
An old Exchange server
The server in the closet gets retired. Mailboxes move to Microsoft 365 and you stop paying to keep old hardware alive.
Your web host's email
Email that came free with your website hosting (cPanel and similar). Mail copies over, and we make sure the website keeps working when the email moves.
After you hit send
What happens next, step by step.
Step 1
A short call
Where your email lives now, how many people, and anything odd (shared inboxes, a server, files). Fifteen minutes is usually enough.
Step 2
A written plan and a flat price
The mailboxes, the weekend, what your team needs to do (usually nothing) and one price. Nothing starts until you approve it.
Step 3
Setup and copying, in the background
Microsoft 365 is built and your old mail copies over while everyone keeps working on the old system.
Step 4
Switch weekend, normal Monday
Mail moves over the weekend. Monday, Outlook opens with everything in it, and I am on call that morning.
Before you send it
The questions people actually ask.
Will we lose any email during the switch?
No. Old mail is copied before the switch, and after the switch we run a final pass to pick up anything that arrived while it happened. Mail sent to you during the weekend still arrives; it lands in Microsoft 365 instead of the old system.
Do our email addresses change?
No. Everyone keeps the same address on your own domain. Customers notice nothing.
How long does it take?
For most small offices, two to three weeks from the go-ahead to the old system being switched off. The part that affects your team is one weekend.
What does it cost?
One flat price for the migration, set by how many mailboxes you have and where they are coming from, and written down before anything moves. Microsoft's licence fees are separate and monthly. There are no surprise hourly add-ons.
We're only five people. Is it worth it?
Five people is a normal size for this. A small office has the same risks as a big one: one shared inbox nobody can get into, one phone that stops syncing. The move is shorter, and so is the quote.
Do we have to sign up for managed IT?
No. The migration is a one-time project. If you want someone looking after Microsoft 365 afterwards, that is available month to month, but it is a separate choice.
