How It Works
Initial Visit & Assessment
We visit your loved one's home ($50 for up to 1 hour, then $50 per additional hour) to assess their current setup, understand their needs, and identify security vulnerabilities. We'll check their computer, phone, internet router, and explain everything in simple terms.
Installation & Setup
We install and configure protections: ad blockers to help block scam pop-ups before they appear, security software for 24/7 monitoring, daily backup systems, iPhone scam call protection to help block calls before they reach your loved one, and can replace their router with a professional one for whole-home internet security (Plan 3). Most setup work gets completed during the initial visit.
Ongoing Protection & Monitoring
Protections run automatically 24/7. Security software monitors for threats, backups happen daily, and dangerous websites get blocked before they can load. Scam calls and ads are blocked before they reach your loved one in most cases. If any get through, we make sure they're aware these are scams. Your loved one uses their devices normally while staying protected.

Remote support is included with a monthly plan, and the monthly plan covers support fees. We help with computer issues, internet problems, questions, and updates. Protection for Your Elderly Family Members
Seniors face constant threats from scammers online and over the phone. Older adults are frequently targeted. We block scam calls and ads before they reach your loved one, and make sure they're aware of these types of scams so they can recognize and avoid them.
Our Layered Protection Approach
Multiple layers of protection work together on all internet-connected systems. We block scam calls and ads before they reach your loved one. If any get through, we make sure they're aware these are scams. If one layer misses something, the others catch it.
1. DNS Filtering
Protects their whole internet connection by blocking dangerous websites before they can load. Even if someone clicks a bad link, the website won't open.
2. Spam Filtering
Filters fake emails and text messages before they reach their inbox. Most scams start with a fake email or text message.
3. Endpoint Protection
Advanced security software on their computer that watches for problems 24/7 and stops threats before they can cause damage.
4. Training & Awareness
Education helps people recognize scammers who call asking for money or pretending to help, when they're actually trying to steal. We make sure your loved one is aware of these types of scams.
5. Remote WiFi Support
WiFi issues get resolved remotely after one initial visit ($50 for up to 1 hour, then $50 per additional hour). Future problems get fixed quickly without another visit.
6. Remote Computer Help
Computer help happens remotely after one initial visit ($50 for up to 1 hour, then $50 per additional hour). Issues get resolved quickly without additional visits.
All technical work is handled behind the scenes, so your family doesn't need to worry. Problems get fixed as soon as they're detected.
In simple terms: Protections run on their devices and accounts get monitored automatically. Your loved one uses their computer normally while staying protected.
Why Choose Us to Protect Your Loved Ones?
Since 2021, businesses across Northeast Ohio have trusted us with their online security. That same expertise now protects seniors. Older adults face unique online challenges, and we know how to address them.
We do provide IT security services for businesses as well, but seniors are the most taken advantage group of people and we would like to help them as much as possible.
Why I Do This - A Personal Story
I've seen family members targeted by scammers claiming to be from the United States selling security services. These scammers exploit seniors for profit, providing no real value while taking their hard-earned money.
For example, they might install McAfee antivirus and charge $600 for a 3-year package, then call months later demanding more money. Once they have remote access, they repeatedly call claiming something is wrong with your computer, creating ongoing scam opportunities.
This is why I'm passionate about blocking scam calls and ads before they reach seniors, and ensuring they're aware of these tactics. Real security services protect your loved ones, not exploit them.
To you and I, fake virus pages and scam calls may seem obvious, but to a 70-80 year old, they're not so obvious and they may be taken advantage of. These scammers are highly malicious, trying to extract as much money as possible from vulnerable seniors.
Our goal is to help as many people as possible use their computer worry-free from malicious popups. We set them up with protections to defend themselves and make them aware of what's out there. If something were to arise, we'll be there every step of the way to help with any issues.
What Sets Us Apart?
We have a low monthly cost that provides real value and allows us to help you quickly without any user interaction, making our process much simpler. We get everybody working as quickly as possible with continuous monitoring and support.
Our plans allow you to pay a lower per hour rate compared to somebody needing help for the first time. Other companies charge $175 an hour or more. Scammers like to charge for 3 years at a time for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, making it seem like they're giving you a really great deal.
Our low plans of $10, $20, and $25 a month are very reasonably priced for our maintenance plans to hopefully prevent you from ever needing to call us, but if you do, it's either included or at a low rate of $50 an hour.
At $25 a month (with the one-time setup fee of $250 for the router and setup of everything), it's only $300 a year to be fully protected, with your computer backed up and protected from any and all issues. This includes blocking all ads, malicious websites and more, with remote support included - never having to worry about being charged for phone conversations.
Experienced: Daily business security work translates directly to protecting your family members.
Complete Setup & Maintenance: Everything gets configured and kept working. Your loved one doesn't need technical knowledge - it's all handled for them.

Comprehensive Protection: Security runs on their computer, phone, and email to block scam calls and ads before they reach your loved one. If any get through, we make sure they're aware these are scams.
Ongoing Maintenance: Security systems stay updated and problems get addressed quickly. New scam calls and ads get blocked before they reach your loved one. We also keep them aware of new scam types so they can recognize them.

Learn How Scammers Work - Our Inspiration
Education helps people recognize the dangers: people calling and asking for money, or saying they want to help when really they're trying to steal as much money as possible. Educational video channels like Kitboga and Scammer Payback show how scammers operate. Understanding scammers' tactics makes you much harder to scam. When you know their tricks, you can recognize and avoid them before they cause harm.
Why Education Matters
Education helps people recognize the dangers: people calling and asking for money, or saying they want to help when really they're trying to steal as much money as possible. Scammers use the same tactics over and over. Once you understand their methods, you can spot them immediately. Educational videos show real scam calls and how scammers try to trick people. Watching these helps you recognize the red flags before you're targeted.
Key principle: The more you know about how scammers operate, the harder it becomes for them to trick you. Knowledge is your best defense.
Educational Resources
Learn from real scam calls: Watch Kitboga and Scammer Payback on YouTube. These channels show real scam calls and demonstrate how scammers operate - their tactics, scripts, and methods.
When you understand how scammers operate, you can recognize their tactics immediately. You'll know that real companies don't call demanding immediate payment, gift cards are always a red flag, and creating urgency is a common scam tactic.
How to Protect Yourself
Most scams start with ads: Scammers use fake pop-ups, fake tech support ads, and fake prize notifications to trick people. This is why we block these ads - so they never reach you in the first place. If any get through, we make sure you're aware these are scams.
If you accidentally click something suspicious, don't call any numbers that pop up, don't give remote access to your computer, don't provide personal information, and don't buy gift cards. Call immediately - help securing your computer is available.
Remember: Knowledge Protects You
Scammers use the same tactics repeatedly. Once you've seen how they operate (through educational videos), you can recognize their methods immediately. Understanding scammers' tactics makes you much harder to scam.
We combine technical protections (ad blocking, call filtering) with education. The technical protections help reduce many scams automatically, and education helps you recognize and avoid the ones that get through. Together, they provide strong protection.
Our Approach: We're inspired by educational channels like Kitboga and Scammer Payback that show how scammers operate. We believe that knowing scammers' tactics makes you much harder to scam. That's why we combine technical protections (ad blocking, call filtering, computer security) with education about how scams work. The technical protections help reduce many threats automatically, and education helps you recognize and avoid the ones that get through. Together, they provide comprehensive protection.
General Tips and Tricks to Stay Protected and Safe Online
Here are some important facts that may seem obvious but aren't always obvious to everyone. Following these simple tips can help keep you safe:
Account Security
Protect your accounts: Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for all important accounts - this adds an extra layer of security. Never share passwords or codes with people who call you. Legitimate companies will never ask for your password or security codes over the phone.
We can help you understand how to set up 2FA on your accounts. If someone calls claiming to be from a company, hang up and call the company's official number yourself to verify.
Important Scam Warnings
Know the red flags: Fraud alert scams, virus popup scams, and people asking you to verify information are almost always scammers. If you see a popup saying you have a virus telling you to call a number, NEVER call that number - these are always scams.
If scammers call claiming there's fraudulent activity, hang up and call the company directly using their official phone number. Close suspicious popups and restart your computer if needed. When in doubt, hang up and call back.
Remember: When in Doubt, Hang Up and Call Back
If someone calls you claiming to be from a company or organization, the safest thing to do is hang up and call them back using the official phone number you know is real (from their official website or documentation). This simple step helps you avoid most phone scams by making you aware of these types of scams.
iPhone Protection - We Set This Up For Free
Important: iPhones have powerful built-in features that can help reduce scam calls and messages. These features are free and already on the phone - they get configured properly. Keeping your iPhone updated and these protections enabled makes it much harder for scammers to reach you. All setup gets handled. Android protections may be possible, but aren't something we can reliably help with.
Watch Our Video Guide
We've created a helpful video that explains how iPhone scam call protection works and why keeping your phone updated is so important. This video shows you exactly what we'll set up and how it blocks scam calls before they reach you, and makes sure you're aware of these types of scams.
Key points from the video:
- Why keeping your iPhone updated is critical for scam protection
- How these built-in protections work to block scam calls
- What happens when scammers try to call you (they may have a much harder time getting through)
- How we set everything up for you
Coming soon
Call Protection
Block and silence spam calls: Silence Unknown Callers gets configured so calls from people not in contacts won't ring (they still show in the call list). The iPhone automatically identifies and marks spam calls, and numbers can be blocked right from the call list.
Focus Mode can also get set up so only family members can call during certain times (like bedtime). All configuration gets handled in their phone settings.
Message & Email Filtering
Automatic spam filtering: The iPhone automatically filters spam text messages into a separate folder, keeping their main messages clean. The built-in Mail app also filters spam emails into a separate folder.
This works with iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, and other email providers. They can review filtered messages if needed, and additional blocking can be configured for specific email addresses or phone numbers.
Keeping Your iPhone Updated
For these protections to work best, your iPhone needs to be kept up to date. Apple regularly releases updates that improve scam call protection and security. Automatic updates get enabled and the phone gets checked to ensure it's current. All these protections get configured, the phone gets updated, and everything gets explained. When scammers try to call, they may have a much more difficult time reaching your loved one.
Important: All these iPhone features are free and already built into the phone. The phone gets updated and everything gets configured correctly. When your iPhone is updated and these protections are enabled, scammers may have a much more difficult time getting through. Extra protection services can also be added for additional security. All setup and maintenance gets handled. Android protections may be possible, but aren't something we can reliably help with.
Blocking Bad Ads - Very Important Protection
Very Important: Most computer scams that target seniors start with fake ads. Scammers use fake ads and pop-up messages to trick people into downloading viruses or giving away personal information. This is why blocking bad ads is one of the most important things we do.
Special software and settings block dangerous ads before they show up on your loved one's computer:
Blocking Bad Ads on All Devices
Protection gets set up everywhere: An adblock plugin gets installed in all browsers on their computer and network-level protection gets configured on their internet router. This protects ALL their devices - computers, phones, tablets - without needing to install anything on each device.
The adblock plugin stops fake "Your computer has a virus" pop-ups, fake tech support ads, fake prize notifications, and other dangerous ads. Network-level protection automatically blocks bad ads, tracking, and dangerous websites for everything connected to their internet.
Why This Is So Important
Most scams start with fake ads: Most computer scams that target seniors begin with fake ads. Fake pop-ups, fake tech support ads, fake prize messages - this is how scammers reach people. By blocking these ads, your loved one never sees them in the first place.
Protection lists get updated regularly to block new scam calls and ads before they reach your loved one, keep their information private by blocking tracking, and ensure it doesn't break normal websites. This blocks the #1 way scammers reach seniors - fake ads.
Very Important: Since most computer scams start with fake ads, blocking bad ads is essential. But it needs to be set up correctly so it doesn't break normal websites. All setup and testing gets handled, and it stays working. Your loved one doesn't need to do anything - it just works, and it blocks the most common way scammers reach seniors.
