Why businesses switch to NHM

Most IT support lets you down in the same predictable ways.

The frustration usually isn’t the technology — it’s not being able to reach anyone who cares or follows through. Here’s the difference.

Sound familiar?

  • You leave a message and wait days for a callback.
  • Support reads from a script and has no idea how your business runs.
  • You only find out about a security gap after something breaks.
  • Every invoice is a surprise and every fix feels like an upsell.
  • Your cyber insurance renewal asks about MFA and backups, and you're not sure what to answer.

What you get with me instead

  • You reach me directly — the owner who actually manages your systems, not a queue.
  • Problems get prevented with proactive monitoring, not patched after an outage.
  • I only recommend what you actually need, and I explain why in plain English.
  • I show up when I say I will and stay until it's done right.
  • You know what things cost before I do them — no surprise invoices.

How it works

What happens after you reach out.

The first goal is clarity: what’s exposed, what’s interrupting the team, what should be fixed first, and what can be planned.

1. Free consultation

We talk through your business, systems, and pain points. No pitch — just an honest read on where you stand.

2. Security & operations baseline

I review identity, email, endpoints, backups, DNS, cloud tools, and support gaps to see what's actually exposed.

3. Risk-prioritized roadmap

You get clear sequencing: urgent fixes first, planned projects next, with owners and budget context.

4. Managed rollout & review

I move into support, monitoring, and documentation, with recurring check-ins so nothing drifts.

Free, instant, no signup

See how your website and email look from the outside.

Enter your business domain and get an instant read on SSL, security headers, email authentication (SPF / DKIM / DMARC), DNS health, and blacklist status. See where you stand before you decide whether to talk to anyone.

  • Real DNS lookups — not a marketing summary.
  • No account or email required for the free scan.
  • Tells you what's wrong and where to fix it.

Heads up: the domain you scan is shared with the NHM team so we can see how the tool is used and follow up if you want help. See privacy policy.

Common questions

Straight answers before you even call.

What does managed IT cost?

It depends on how many people and systems you have, so I won't pretend there's one number. After the free consultation you get a clear monthly figure and exactly what it covers — and you'll never be billed for work we didn't agree on first.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

You call or email me directly — there's no ticket queue to sit in. Urgent problems get worked immediately, and you'll always know who's handling it, because it's the same person every time: me.

Can you help us meet our cyber insurance requirements?

Yes. I put the controls insurers ask about in place — MFA, tested backups, email and endpoint protection — and keep the documentation, so the renewal questionnaire has real answers behind it.

We already have someone who handles IT. Does that matter?

Not a problem. Some clients have an internal person for day-to-day issues and bring me in for security and bigger projects. Others hand me the whole thing. We'll figure out what split makes sense in the consultation.

What happens after I book the consultation?

We talk through your business and where IT is hurting — no pitch. Then I do a baseline review of your identity, email, endpoints, and backups, and you get a prioritized roadmap: urgent fixes first, planned projects next, with budget context.
